Scott is the Shareholder-in-Charge of CSH’s Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Northern Kentucky offices and chairs the firm’s Financial Services Industry Group. He is the client relationship shareholder for community banks, broker dealers and registered investment advisors with assets ranging from $50 million to over $1.5 billion. Scott is the firm’s primary client relationship contact for numerous distributors, manufacturers, and other closely held businesses with sales ranging from $25 million to $250 million.
His expertise encompasses SEC audit engagements as well as work for closely held businesses including consulting on various business issues. He has extensive experience in accounting systems and internal accounting controls for financial institutions, distributors, manufacturers and other closely held businesses. Scott has experience in M&A in the financial services industry and has been involved in converting mutual banks to public stock banks, as well as the initial setup of mutual holding companies.
Scott has been serving clients in financial services and manufacturing and distribution industries for 27 years. Being proactive and thinking about cost-effective solutions for clients is what Scott enjoys most about his role as a trusted advisor for his clients. He shares his knowledge as a speaker on accounting and auditing topics for the Ohio Society of CPAs, Tri-State League of Financial Institutions, Kentucky Bankers Association and the Community Bankers Association of Ohio. Scott is a 2017 graduate of Leadership Cincinnati, Class 40 where he further developed his skill as a leader in the community and the local business arena.
