CyberOhio Local Government Grant Program: Now Accepting Applications

Cybersecurity is a significant threat to government organizations due to their handling of sensitive data, control over critical infrastructure and vulnerability to state-sponsored attacks and hacktivism. These threats can lead to severe consequences, including disrupted services, compromised national security, financial loss and erosion of public trust.

What is CyberOhio?

In an effort to protect state agencies and local entities from cybersecurity incidents, CyberOhio was formed. Led by the Cybersecurity Strategic Advisor to the Governor, CyberOhio is responsible for coordinating and guiding Ohio’s wide-ranging cybersecurity efforts across all state executive branch agencies. This includes the management of cybersecurity capabilities, development of strategies, plans and standards, conducting outreach and supporting collaboration between all state agencies, local governments, academic institutions and critical infrastructure partners.
