Denise Casto

As a Virtual CFO, Denise is responsible for providing CFO level oversight and behavioral health specific consultation. She specializes in working with clients in the government industry. In addition, Denise has over 19 years of experience working for not-for-profits in long-term care and behavioral health and 5 years of experience working for government entities.

She works primarily with mental health and recovery boards in Ohio and focuses on providing behavioral health specific resources to those clients. Denise has a unique perspective in supporting her clients due to her behavioral health provider experience. Serving multiple boards across the state enables Denise to share information, new strategies, and identified concerns while issues are current and relevant.

Denise prioritizes fostering a teamwork approach with her clients while providing oversight and consulting. Denise works with her clients to ensure efficient and effective tools and processes are in place and used accordingly. Her client services include monthly financial statement preparation and presentation, annual Hinkle report preparation and submission, Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services board level reports, annual budget preparation, audit support, and transitioning to QuickBooks Online.

Denise joined CSH in December 2019 when Keelsra merged with CSH. She started with Keelsra in March 2019.
