John Board

As an audit consultant and commercial loan audit specialist for CSH’s Risk Management Services Group, John handles internal audits, internal control evaluations, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, regulatory compliance, and loan reviews for community banks and financial services institutions. John specializes in commercial loan review including documentation, regulatory compliance, and credit quality.

He has extensive experience working directly with FDIC and OCC regulators conducting audits of various financial institutions. His experience includes developing and implementing policy and procedures concerning commercial lending, real estate appraisals, and internal audit functions.

John worked in the banking industry for 15 years which included roles such as Chief Commercial Credit Officer, Chief Financial Analyst and Commercial Loan Reviewer for banks featured on both the NYSE and NASDAQ markets. He also audited community banks for commercial and consumer loan compliance and quality while working as an independent contractor. His experience spans many states including Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky. He has also served as a CFO in both the manufacturing and contract consulting industries, as well as Chairman and Treasurer of the Board of Directors for a non-profit foster care agency.
