Kerry Roe

Kerry is the President of Clark Schaefer Hackett. Prior to stepping into this role in 2017, he led the firm’s Government Services Group and also served as the firm’s Executive Vice President for seven years. As President, Kerry works for the associates of CSH to ensure our firm is always future-ready while focusing on individual and collective growth of our people, clients, and the firm.

Kerry has been with CSH for over 30 years, providing accounting, auditing, and consulting services to governmental and not-for-profit (NFP) organizations. He has served some of the largest local governments in Ohio including cities, counties, and public school districts. Further, he has worked with NFP organizations of many types and sizes, including social service agencies, private schools, trade organizations, churches, and membership organizations.

Kerry has performed many audits of state and local governments and NFP organizations under the requirements of the Single Audit Act, Government Auditing Standards, and the Uniform Grant Guidance. Kerry has also worked with several NFP and governmental agencies as a consultant regarding financial reporting, internal controls, process improvement, data analysis, and investigating fraud.

Kerry began his career as an auditor with the Auditor of State of Ohio.
